Fallen Petal 02 [Accidental Video Feed]
[The video feed flickers on, showing Ceireia dancing deep in the park around the oasis in the center. As she moves along, plant life grows rapidly, as if reaching towards her. However, the plants look different, odd, perhaps deformed, with dark colored veins through the leaves and flowers.
Also, she is singing. Although, no one can understand it, as it's in a language only few knew back in her own world. It sounds eerie, yet somewhat calming. If one had to take a guess, it could be a lullaby. Dark energy swirls around her hands and legs calmly, however as it brushes against some of the plant life, it withers. The feed continues on for another minute or so before timing out.]
[ooc: Ceireia is currently unable to speak or type common. As there is no existing translations or anything for the Arcane language she's speaking, I'll be using Drow as her stand-in language for translations and such. If you wish to read translations of what she'll be saying, use this: http://www.grey-company.org/Maerdyn/resources/translator/ ]
[Action]
Vel'uss ph' dos?
[No, she doesn't realize that she's not speaking common anymore.]

[Kaosu tilts his head at the reply. He had been sure that he had been able to communicate with the natives of this city.]
You... Don't understand me, I assume? Please, don't tell me I need another magical accessory to talk to you.
[The magic user looked around with a slight frown.]
...this is truly bothersome. I was only-- Wait. Let me show you!
[And he takes a step back, casting a quick spell.]
Earth Spike!
[A single yet massive stone spike shot up from the ground and remained standing there for about ten seconds before crumbling apart again. The young male gestures towards the structure.]
I do magic myself, but I have never seen something like-- You... Don't even understand me, do you?

Usstan kampi'un dos ula.
Xuat morfeth jivvin d' uns'aa.
[She closes her eyes for a moment, before kneeling down and slamming her palm against the ground, runes flashing across the visible soil. Within seconds, thorny vines begin to sprout from the ground, spreading rapidly.]
Usstan quarth olvan.

[Kaosu tried making sense of her words once more, then sighed, bowing his head. As an adventurer of Rune-Midgard he often had to deal with foreign folks and different languages. One of the most important rules: Stay polite. Or they may try to feed you to some local beast.]
I am sorry. But I will try finding a library. Or someone to teach me your language.
[His attention turns to the vines and for a moment he ponders.]
You know... My parents were capable of summoning plants. Single Floras or Geographers that would help them fight... But let me show you one more!
[He grins and runs to her side, extending a single hand forward before beginning his quiet chant. About ten feet away a large magic circle appears on the ground, rotating with flashing runes shifting slowly. When the High Wizard opens his eyes, they are still glowing red from the lingering magic power he just channeled into his spell.]
METEOR STORM!!
[A total of ten large burning meteors comes crashing down within the area of the magic circle, leaving scorched crates in the ground and a happy magic user.]
Ahaha! Elemental magic! It's fun! I am a High Wizard. Kaosu.
[He extends his hand towards her. Hey. Who knows. Maybe he could even learn that spell of hers!]

Nindol zhah natha priqual.
[She shook her head, speaking more to herself than the man in front of her. Then, she heard him casting the spell, feeling the energy from it. Wait, was was he doing?]

Lu'oh kuuv dos elgg nindol k'lar xuil chath!
[Her voice was an angry hiss. This area seemed sacred to her, and to her it seemed he had attempted to desecrate it. The dark energy around her hummed.
Without any sort of warning, some of the energy arced out, slicing through a tree trunk as she stood there quivering with rage and fear. Unfortunately, she couldn't control it, as she glared at the damage she had just done hersef.]

[The Wizard watched the woman and her reaction. Admittedly. Fire can be frightening. But this was entirely within his control! And yet, he sighed, raising his hands in defeat.]
Okay. I am sorry if that scared you.

Ka dos ph' taudl dos orn'la sevir. Nin.
[A look of worry quickly passes through her eyes before reverting back to glaring.]

You probably prefer water over fire.

Nau, Usstan ssinssrin dos ulu sevir! Usstan inbal xund ulu xun.

Usstan? Is that your name?

Ceireia.
[Well, at least her name is the same in the ancient language.]
